Strasbourg, August 18, 2021 -- BlackSky Holdings, Inc., today announced that it has been awarded a contract modification from the NRO to provide on-demand satellite imagery through a monthly subscription. BlackSky’s high-resolution satellite constellation will generate imagery for defence and intelligence communities to support homeland defence, national security, disaster and emergency response missions.

BlackSky’s satellites provide high, intraday revisit capabilities, allowing customers to receive multiple images a day, throughout the day, rather than just one image collected at roughly the same time each day.
